ABOUT ME

Peter Burke retired as a public school classroom teacher, and during his teaching career he used music, poetry, and read aloud books to engage student learning and promote vocabulary development and reading fluency.

 

He is committed to sharing his teaching materials to assist home school teachers, substitute teachers, and classroom teachers seeking supplemental materials and ideas to support learning.

 

 

After retiring, he worked as a substitute teacher and often volunteered for classrooms lacking lesson plans due to emergency teacher absences.  This website will act as a lifeline for teachers placed in those situations.
